When you complete and submit any of the forms on our website, that information is captured and stored on our server. We collect it because it becomes part of our database for clients and notaries.

Order information is disclosed to our database of notaries, for the order they’re working only. If we start a newsletter in the future, that information would be shared with our Email Campaign Software company.

How long we retain your data

If we were to add a blog to our site some day, and you were to leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely.

Registered clients can request deletion of their account at any time. However, closed orders must remain on our servers for at least the duration of 1 year beyond the signing date.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data

Transactions on this site are protected with up to 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer encryption. We have taken the extra step to have a security plan in place. Routine scans are run to check all the software and applets in our website to verify all is as up-to-date as can be, including malware and security checks. We run a nightly backup. In addition, Triple Check Notary carries $1,000,000 coverage in Errors and Omissions Insurance (E&O).

Industry regulatory disclosure requirements

As per the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, every notary and NSA in our database has been background screened annually, as part of our security commitment.
